Born Of Osiris have been in the studio recently working on a as of yet untitled album. They gave us an interesting cover of a System Of A Down Song a few months back, but we haven't heard any real new material since Jason Richardson left the band. Today however we have a new song titled 'M∆chine'! Not sure what the importance of the delta symbol is, but the song itself is pretty good. They set a pretty high bar for themselves with The Discovery so this new album has a lot to live up to.

New Oh, Sleeper!
Oh, Sleeper finished up an indiegogo campaign recently with much success raising almost $55,000 which is close to twice their $30,000 goal. The band is going to release an EP called The Titan, play a tour and then release a second EP to combine with the old one to make an LP. An interesting route which the band Divinity was kind of doing with their Immortalist album.
Band Of The Week: Secrets Of A Psychopath
Secrets Of A Psychopath were one of the first bands I had the pleasure of reviewing on my site here. Their EP was an impressive collection of aggressive and heavy music that rode a fine line between progressive and more straight forward deathcore. Their album Concept Of Failure was a pleasure to listen to and still holds up really well against plenty of more established bands in the genre.

The Black Dahlia Murder - Everblack
If there were to be a poster child for Melodic Death Metal that band would likely be The Black Dahlia Murder. I don't mean this in a negative way at all, this band kills it time and time again and remain as probably the most popular band in melodeath and one of the most popular in metal alone. It's music that is incredibly well made, yet accessible for those just peering into more extreme genres.

August Burns Red 'Provision'!
To say I'm excited for Rescue & Restore would probably be a bit of an understatement. August Burns Red have always been a favorite of mine and I cannot wait for the release of this album. The band has released a new song via their band app, entitled 'Provision'.
Band Of The Week: The Schoenberg Automaton
So Dweller got an extra week as BOTW thanks to my vacation, but this week I'm bringing you this immensely talented yet still 'under-the-radar' group The Schoenberg Automaton. I did do a review of this bands album a few months back, which you can read here, but it seems these guys still aren't getting the attention they deserve.

New Make Them Suffer Video!
Make Them Suffer's Neverbloom was one of my favorite albums from last year. It's pretty fantastic through and through and is a hell of a great start to a career for these guys. Today they released a music video for the song 'Elegies', which had a lyric video before,b ut now has the official video treatment.
There's A New Karnivool Song As Well!
Karnivool are releasing a new album this year, and all the prog fans should be rejoicing. Karnivool's blend of prog rock/metal with a heavy emphasis on atmosphere and creating a tremendous sound has worked wonder for them on their first two albums, the second of which, Sound Awake, is one of the best albums I've ever heard. The band did release a track recently, entitled 'The Refusal' but there was a bit of confusion surrounding it as some claimed it was a B-side track, and the production on the track wasn't up to par with their other work. According to Metalsucks that track is a part of the new album though. Hopefully what we heard was just an unmastered version of the track.

Inhale Exhale Are Disbanding
I'll be honest, Inhale Exhale are a band I haven't really kept up with in recent years, and I haven't yet gotten around to listening to their last album Movement, but I did have a good time listening to their first few albums, particularly I Swear. So it's unfortunate to hear that the band is breaking up after a seven year run.
The Acacia Strain Announce New Guitarists!
The Acacia Strain parted ways with long time guitarist Daniel 'DL' Laskiewicz recently, and yesterday announced the addition of two new guitarists, Devin Shidaker (Who just left Oceano for this position) and Richard Gomez.
