Alrighty! Christian Deathcore In The Midst Of Lions, who I've mentioned a few times recently have posted a new song from the forthcoming album entitled Shadows, due out November 22! The new song, Cry Of The Oppressed, sounds great.
ITMOL appear to be continuing to grow both technically and lyrically. (Their lyrics are filed to the brim with christian themes and ideologies, but not in an overbearing/preachy way. Or at least not a preachy feeling as say For Today.) The new song shows the guitarists technical chops, and features pretty great finger work throughout. The rythmn guitars don't reinvent the wheel, but they help keep the pace steady throughout. The drums are good, but nothing hugely impressive. The Vocals are as just as fantastic as they've always been. Matt Janssens Vocals are so good. He is very impressive. Anyhow check out the song here:
Based on the studio videos and this song I think this album could outdo The Heart Of Man easily. Or at least be just as good. Here's to hoping! I know I'm looking forward to it.
