Details Surface For Devil You Know's Debut Album!

Devil You Know, the supergroup formed by Howard Jones (ex-Killswitch Engage, Blood Has Been Shed) Francesco Artusato (ex-All Shall Perish), and John Sankey (ex-Devolved, Fear Factory), announced their formation a while ago, but now details have surfaced for their debut album via the bands Facebook page. Above you've got the album artwork, and the title which is The Beauty Of Destruction.

Killswitch Engage 'Disarm The Descent' Details Announced!

Big news for the world of metalcore, titans of the genre Killswitch Engage are set to release thier next album Disarm The Descent on April 2nd, 2013. As most fans know this album is the first album since 2002 to feature original vocalist Jesse Leach after the sad departure of Howard Jones. Although there's really no one else who'd be a better replacement vocalist than the original guy.

Killswitch Engage 'This Is Confrontation'! (Update!)

(Update: I meant to update this a few days ago, but anyhow, the track is actually called 'No End In Sight')

So as you've probably heard Killswitch Engage are making a new album with Jesse Leach. A new song from their upcoming album has been posted online. The song is titled 'This Is Confrontation'. I believe it's a pre-mastered version of the song, but I'm not entirely sure.

It's A Sad Sad Day. And You Can Cancel That Oceano Album.

Update: Apparently a representative at Earache is saying that Oceano is just going on Hiatus. Which is sort of contrary to the bands facebook status. I'll post more if it gets cleared up.

Update 2: Nevermind, I guess Oceano is broken up for sure.

Two sad things happened today. Howard Jones has left Killswitch Engage, which saddens me deeply. No one is particularly sure yet why he left the band, although there is plenty of speculation. I'm not sure if they've been looking for a replacement or not yet, seeing as they are supposed to have a new album this year. Howard will be missed, he had such a good voice.

2011 was a pretty damn impressive year for music. As you can see from my top albums list, which covered a majority of the best albums, but is far from containing all the albums you should have already listened too. Anyhow, I think it goes without saying that 2012 has some pretty big shoes to fill.
